Chicken

Undoubtedly my favourite meat; tasty, versatile, economic, and so, so easy to use. I really wouldn't know what to do without it in my kitchen.

I use this meat whole, cooked, fried, sliced, diced, seasoned, in salads, pies, soups, basically anything you can name.

I will start by explaining to you the basics for making the most of a whole chicken, and how to use it as the base for numerous dishes (in this case seven).

I will give you suggestions about what to make at each stage of it's usage, but remember, they are just that, suggestions. You can use the meat, the legs, the wings, the stock etc, etc, however you like.

Just have a go, experiment, but most of all, enjoy yourself!

By the way, you can make a mexican version of this, by simply substituting the curry powder with mexican spices!!
