This fantastically crunchy version of Samosas is so easy I don't actually think you can call it a recipe!

What it is however, is a fantastic way to take full advantage of left overs, and they are something that every freezer should be stocked with.

I've filled some with the filling I had left over from making savoury crepes, and others with spicy mince filling for fajitas, but you can use whatever you want.

INGREDIENTS

a packet of small tortillas,

a spoonful of flour,

water,

filling of your choice.

STEPS

1)Blend water into the flour until you have a smooth yet thickish mixture, exactly the way you made glue when you were a kid.

2)Slice the tortillas in half, and paint the upper half of the straight edge with the glue, then fold into cone shapes.

3)Fill the cones about half full, then paint half of the upper edge, and close applying pressure with your fingers.

Do not overfill or you won't be able to seal them.

4)If you are going to eat them straight away, simply fry them in hot oil. If not, store them in clearly labelled resealable bags.

You can fry them without defrosting first, but if you do so, fry them on a medium flame, or they will brown before the filling is fully heated.

If this happens, you can finish them off in the microwave, but they won't be as crunchy if you do.

I find it best to cut the tortillas one by one, that way I only cut enough for the filling I have available.
